This data is stored securely and is associated with your account so you can view your expense history and analytics across devices.
C. Voice Data (Zero Retention)
When you use the voice input feature, we process your audio to extract transaction details. We operate under a zero-retention policy for audio files. Your voice audio is processed in real-time or near real-time and is immediately deleted from our servers once the text transcription and data extraction are complete. We do not store your original voice recordings.
D. Usage Data
We may collect information about how you access and use the Services, including device type, operating system version, and crash logs. This helps us improve the app's stability and performance.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the PocketWarden app.
- To generate transaction records from your voice inputs.
- To provide you with analytics and insights about your spending habits.
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers solely for the purpose of operating our Services:
- AI Processing Providers: We use third-party AI services to transcribe and process your voice inputs. These providers are contractually obligated to process your data only for the purpose of providing the service and are configured not to use your data for model training.
- Cloud Infrastructure: We use secure cloud providers (such as Cloudflare and AWS) to host our backend services and database.
- Apple: Payments and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your credit card information.
4. Data Retention
- Audio Files: Deleted immediately after processing.
- Account & Financial Data: Retained for as long as your account is active. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
5. Data Security
The security of your data is important to us. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption and secure communication protocols (HTTPS), to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.
